Ghana Votes Rigging

#GhanaDecides: Electoral commission recounts votes over cases of rigging

The Electoral Commission of Ghana is undertaking a recount of yesterday’s presidential votes after reported cases of over-voting.

In a message on its Twitter handle, the commission said that the recounting exercise is to ascertain the number of valid votes in order to discard instances of over-voting in the keenly contested election between the incumbent President John Mahama and the candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo-Addo.
