U.S. ELECTIONS: Trump laments as Biden leads polls

President Donald Trump has said his leads ‘magically’ disappeared after ‘surprise ballot dumps’ were counted.

Trump stated this via Twitter, stressing it was devastating every time they count Mail-In ballot.

“Last night I was leading, often solidly, in many key States, in almost all instances Democrat run & controlled.

“Then, one by one, they started to magically disappear as surprise ballot dumps were counted.

“VERY STRANGE, and the “pollsters” got it completely & historically wrong!

“How come every time they count Mail-In ballot dumps they are so devastating in their percentage and power of destruction?” he queried.

TNG reports that while the race for president has shifted away from Trump, Republicans have left the Democrats far behind in the race for control of the Senate.

Popular vote at the hour showed Biden at 50.1% and Trump at 48.3% with electoral college vote for Biden at 238 and for Trump at 213.

There is no projected winner for the presidential election yet. A candidate needs 270 electoral votes to win the presidential election.

The projected winner is based on the expected allocation of each state’s electoral votes.

Although Trump had said he won the election, votes are still being counted across the country.
